The Backspin HQ Perspective
Rockville and its sister festival Sonic Temple now run back to back in May 2027, and the two Danny Wimmer Presents bills share much of their talent. Korn headline Daytona on May 6 and then close Sonic Temple in Columbus on May 16, while blink-182 headline Sonic Temple's opening night on May 13 after closing Rockville on May 9. Faith No More, Alice in Chains, The Offspring, $UICIDEBOY$, The Prodigy, Knocked Loose, Poppy and Lindemann are booked for both weekends. Backspin covered Korn's Kanada Tour stop in Vancouver.
The names that separate Rockville from its sister event sit at the top of the bill. Bad Omens and Pierce the Veil, neither of whom appears on the Sonic Temple bill, each get a full headline night in Daytona alongside Korn and blink-182. Saturday also groups Meshuggah, Testament and Blood Incantation on the same day, the three acts on Meshuggah's 'The Forty-Year Anomaly' 2027 North American tour.
