Nineteen confirmed shows run across Toronto, Hamilton and Pickering from October 26 to November 1, and several of them carry real weight. L7 bring their farewell tour to the Danforth Music Hall on Thursday, months after the death of founding bassist Jennifer Finch. Two nights later, Texas rock band Blue October play Foiled from start to finish in the same building on Halloween. Sunday, November 1 is the most crowded night of the week: KATSEYE bring The Wildworld Tour to TD Coliseum in Hamilton, King Crimson offshoot BEAT play their final North American run at Great Canadian Toronto, Sleeping With Sirens take HISTORY behind their eighth album, and The Dresden Dolls, Ontario country singer Owen Riegling and Nekrogoblikon all play the same evening. Earlier in the week, Canadian rock veterans Big Wreck play Pickering Casino Resort ahead of their new album, and country singer Tyler Braden opens his first Canadian headlining tour at The Opera House.

The Backspin HQ Picks

KATSEYE, Sunday, November 1 at TD Coliseum, Hamilton. Formed through HYBE and Geffen Records' Dream Academy and the Netflix series that followed it, KATSEYE have moved fast: their 2025 EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200, they picked up two GRAMMY nominations including Best New Artist, and their third EP, WILD, arrived in August. The Hamilton date is one of two Canadian stops on The Wildworld Tour, after the Bell Centre in Montreal on October 30. Backspin photographed the group's Beautiful Chaos Tour stop in Toronto in November 2025.

BEAT, Sunday, November 1 at Great Canadian Toronto. Adrian Belew, Tony Levin and Steve Vai built BEAT to play King Crimson's 1980s catalogue, and this fall is billed as the band's final North American tour. Terry Bozzio sits in on drums because Danny Carey is committed to Tool, and the setlist now reaches into Crimson's 1990s lineup as well. It is a rare chance to hear Belew and Levin, both members of that era of King Crimson, play the material themselves.

L7, Thursday, October 29 at the Danforth Music Hall. The Los Angeles band's Last Hurrah Tour is the first leg of their farewell world tour. Founding bassist Jennifer Finch died in July, and gave the band her blessing to carry on; Janis Tanaka, who played with L7 from 1999 to 2001, is on bass for these final dates.

Blue October, Saturday, October 31 at the Danforth Music Hall. The Foiled 20th Anniversary World Tour has the band playing the 2006 album in its entirety each night, which means 'Hate Me', 'Into the Ocean' and 'She's My Ride Home' in sequence. Danny Malone opens.

Also On The Calendar

Sleeping With Sirens are touring An Ending In Itself, their eighth album, produced by Will Yip. The Dresden Dolls, Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione's Boston duo, play the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Sunday. Tyler Braden, the Warner Records Nashville artist known for his cover of 'Sally, When The Wine Runs Out', starts his first Canadian headlining tour at The Opera House on Tuesday. Big Wreck, fronted by Ian Thornley, play Pickering on Thursday with their new album The Rest of the Story due this month. Irish producer KETTAMA plays HISTORY on Friday, London R&B singer Tiana Major9 is at the Drake Underground on Tuesday, and Nekrogoblikon mark 20 years at The Opera House on Sunday.
