October 15, 2026 - U2 have announced Carnaval De Luz presents: The Greatest Show On Earth, a Live Nation-produced world stadium tour supporting their 16th studio album Carnaval De Luz, out November 13. The first six shows are all in Latin America: two nights each at Mexico City's Estadio GNP Seguros, São Paulo's Estádio MorumBIS and Buenos Aires' Estadio River Plate, with Beck as special guest. These are the band's only Latin American cities of 2027. Dates in North America, the UK and Europe will be announced in the coming weeks, and a homecoming in Ireland is in the works. It will be U2's first stadium run since the Joshua Tree Tour closed in Mumbai in December 2019, and their first full-scale tour since the Sphere residency in Las Vegas, with drummer Larry Mullen Jr. back behind the kit after surgery. The announcement came with the album's third single, "The Greatest Show On Earth," co-written with Brian Eno, and an Anton Corbijn-directed video.
