October 6, 2026 - Simple Plan have announced a Canadian headline tour for early 2027, extending the Bigger Than You Think! run that marked the Montreal band's 25th anniversary in 2026 with shows across the U.S., U.K., Europe, Asia and Australia. That year also brought a sold-out headline show at Toronto's RBC Amphitheatre and the closing set of Warped Tour in Montreal. The Canadian leg opens January 26 at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria and closes February 16 at Halifax's Scotiabank Centre, with stops at Rogers Place, the Scotiabank Saddledome, Scotiabank Arena and the Bell Centre. The band said they "absolutely cannot wait for these shows" and are "incredibly grateful to all our amazing Canadian fans." Presales began October 6 at noon, with general on-sale Friday, October 9 at 10 a.m. local time on Ticketmaster.

The Backspin HQ Perspective
This is the widest Canadian run Simple Plan have booked in more than a decade, and nearly every stop is an arena, from Rogers Place and the Saddledome to Scotiabank Arena and the Bell Centre in their hometown. The B.C. bill has its own local angle, with Vancouver's Marianas Trench taking Yellowcard's slot for Victoria and Rogers Arena. Pairing the band with Bowling for Soup and Yellowcard keeps the night rooted in early-2000s pop-punk, the era the band's 25th anniversary celebrated, and four Simple Plan albums have reached the top five of the Billboard Canadian Albums chart.
