RECAP: COCO JONES BRINGS 'WHY NOT MORE? TOUR' TO THE VOGUE THEATRE

Last night, Coco Jones lit up the Vogue Theatre with a show that was equal parts vocal masterclass and visual dreamscape. On tour for her debut album Why Not More?, her stop in Vancouver proved what fans have been saying for a while now: Coco isn’t just having a moment, she’s in her era.

When Coco took the stage, it was clear this wouldn’t be your average R&B show. Performing fully live, with flawless vocals and amazing choreography, she moved through her set like it was second nature. She’s the kind of artist who doesn’t need to rely on tricks. Her voice did all the heavy lifting, and it soared.

The production added depth without distraction. Massive LED visuals shifted with each track, from stormy oceans to glowing galaxies to a dreamy, pink-hued Earth, pulling the crowd into her orbit. The set flowed like a story, especially during a standout stretch where she wove “Crazy For Me,” into “No Chaser,” then “Put You On.” The transitions were smooth, and the crowd loved it.

One especially fun moment came when Coco brought a fan on stage during her cover of Brent Faiyaz’s “Moment of Your Life,” dancing around him as the audience cheered on.

Throughout the night, Coco repeatedly thanked the audience for showing up and supporting her. She told the crowd she hopes Why Not More? inspires everyone to find out who they really are. She encouraged everyone to be present, go all in, and be exactly who they want to be for one night. “I’ll do my most when I’m on this stage,” she said, “but I need to know this is a safe place.”

Coco’s been honest about the long road it took to get here. She’s talked openly about how watching her peers rise while she stayed in the shadows humbled her. But on this stage, there was no doubt that she’s not in anyone’s shadow anymore. She's owning her story and inviting everyone to own theirs too.
