October 30, 2026 - Nickelback's eleventh studio album Everything Under The Sun is out today via Virgin Music Group. It is the band's first full-length since 2022's Get Rollin' and their first release after leaving BMG, as Louder reported when the record was announced on July 14. The album was co-produced by longtime collaborator Chris Baseford and frontman Chad Kroeger, according to the album's Wikipedia entry.

The record runs 12 songs and about 44 minutes. Kroeger pitched it as a full portrait of the band, telling Louder: "This album has every side of the band on it." Early reviews back that up: the Associated Press called it familiar Nickelback with a heavy dose of cameos, while RIFF Magazine pointed to the band's Nashville writing ties without calling it a country record.

The guest list is the headline. John 5 of Mötley Crüe takes a solo on opener "Rattle The Cage," Thornley frontman Ian Thornley plays on "Bones For The Crows," and "Lift Somebody Up" brings in Sammy Hagar, Shinedown's Brent Smith and Zach Myers, Tommy Lee and Joe Bonamassa. Fellow Canadian Ryan Reynolds opens "Technicolor Steamboat" with a spoken cameo, and bassist Mike Kroeger's kids Avalon and Dawson contribute to "Bottled Dreams," per RIFF and the AP.

The Backspin HQ Perspective

A guest list this stacked usually signals a band trying to prove something, and after the Netflix documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback changed how a lot of people talk about them, this feels like Nickelback leaning into the goodwill rather than chasing it. Pairing a No. 1 rock radio single with power ballads like "Leave Me Behind" is exactly the formula that built their catalogue. The real test is how these songs sit next to "How You Remind Me" and "Photograph" in arenas next spring, and seven Canadian dates give fans at home plenty of chances to judge for themselves.

What's Next for Nickelback

The album arrives ahead of the Everything Under The Sun Tour, a 2027 arena run across North America, the UK, Europe and Australia with Don Broco supporting on most dates. Tickets are on sale now through Nickelback.com and Live Nation. The Canadian stops:
