October 13, 2026 - Matchbox Twenty have announced their 30th Anniversary Tour, the centrepiece of a year-long celebration of their diamond-certified 1996 debut Yourself or Someone Like You. Rob Thomas, Brian Yale, Paul Doucette and Kyle Cook kicked things off with a one-night-only show at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles and an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and will play Stagecoach on April 25 before the tour opens May 15 at Birmingham's Coca-Cola Amphitheater. Promoted by Live Nation, the run hits amphitheatres and arenas across the U.S. and Canada, including Red Rocks, the Hollywood Bowl, Bridgestone Arena, Moody Center and Toronto's RBC Amphitheatre, before wrapping August 12 in Grand Rapids. The band has sold more than 40 million records worldwide on the strength of songs like "3AM," "Push," "Bent," "If You're Gone" and "Unwell."

The Backspin HQ Perspective

Few bands own a specific era of radio quite like Matchbox Twenty, and this tour leans into that without apology. The support rotation is the real flex: The All-American Rejects, The Wallflowers and David Gray each could headline a nostalgia tour of their own, which turns every leg into a different night out. Fifty-two dates is a serious commitment for a band thirty years in, and the routing is generous to the Pacific Northwest, with Vancouver, Spokane, Auburn, Ridgefield and Bend all on the map. If you grew up with "3AM" on repeat, Freedom Mobile Arch on May 30 with The Wallflowers is a strong double bill.
