Louis Tomlinson closed out the 2026 run of his How Did We Get Here? World Tour on Saturday, October 24 at Brisbane's open-air Riverstage, a show moved from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, with Newcastle band Rum Jungle announced as support. A fan-submitted setlist logs 23 songs, and while Brisbane was billed as the tour's final date, a Latin America leg is already listed for spring 2027.

October 24, 2026 - Louis Tomlinson played his last show of 2026 tonight at the Riverstage, the riverside amphitheatre in Brisbane's City Botanic Gardens, with the Brisbane City Council event listing running the night from 5pm to 10pm. Promoter Untitled Group moved the date from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre to the Riverstage earlier this year and told fans that "pre-existing ticket holders do not need to take any action." The fan-run Louis Tomlinson Australia/NZ Updates account reported that reserved seats were converted to general admission as part of the switch, and the promoter's page now lists Brisbane as sold out.

Brisbane was the third and last stop of an Australian swing that opened October 20 at Melbourne's John Cain Arena and hit Sydney's Hordern Pavilion two nights later, which we covered in our Sydney report. The tour began March 23 at Hamburg's Barclays Arena and, per its tour history, has run through Europe, North America and a short Asian stretch in Osaka, Tokyo and Quezon City, all in support of his third album How Did I Get Here?, released January 23.

According to the fan-submitted Brisbane setlist on setlist.fm, the show ran 23 songs, opening with "Lemonade" and closing with "Palaces," with his Foo Fighters cover "My Hero" and One Direction's "Night Changes" in the first half. Compared with the Sydney setlist, Brisbane's list adds "Dark to Light" and does not show "Catwalk" or "The Answer." The page was still marked as live when we published, so the full setlist and whether there was a formal encore break require confirmation.

Rum Jungle, the Newcastle, NSW four-piece that Tomlinson picked himself for all three Australian dates, were announced as support, per On Your Mark. Set times for the night were not published in advance, and no published review of the Brisbane show had surfaced at the time of writing.

The Backspin HQ Perspective

Ending the 2026 run outdoors on the river feels right for where Tomlinson is now. The arena-to-amphitheatre move in Brisbane, like the Hordern switch in Sydney, says the Australian leg was sized a little ambitiously, but a sold-out general admission crowd at the Riverstage is a better closing image than empty arena seats. The setlist tells the same story: it leans hard on How Did I Get Here?, keeps One Direction to a single song, and trusts a fanbase that has grown up with his solo records. We last shot him in Vancouver on the Faith in the Future tour, and the jump from that record to a 23-song set built mostly on new material shows an artist who no longer needs nostalgia to carry the night. With Latin America dates already on the books for 2027, calling Brisbane the finale looks premature.

How Did We Get Here? Latin America Tour Upcoming Dates

FAQ: Louis Tomlinson at Riverstage, Brisbane

Was Brisbane the last show of the How Did We Get Here? World Tour?

Tickets for the 2027 Latin America dates are listed through Live Nation. For past Australian shows, the promoter points fans to Tixel for resale.
