KENSHI YONEZU EXPANDS 'GHOST' WORLD TOUR WITH 2027 DATES ACROSS NORTH AMERICA, ASIA, EUROPE AND THE UK
TL;DR: Japanese superstar Kenshi Yonezu is expanding the GHOST World Tour into 2027 with 12 arena shows across Asia, North America, Europe and the UK, including his first-ever stops in Oakland, Mexico City, Toronto and Amsterdam.
October 15, 2026 - Kenshi Yonezu has announced new 2027 dates for his KENSHI YONEZU 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR / GHOST, promoted by Live Nation. The run follows his 2025 JUNK tour, which marked his live debut in the U.S., Europe and Korea. Since then, his Chainsaw Man movie theme "IRIS OUT" climbed to No. 5 on the Billboard Global 200, the highest position ever for a Japanese-language song, and "KICK BACK" became the first Japanese-language song certified RIAA Platinum. The 2027 leg opens with three nights at Seoul's INSPIRE Arena in January, hits five North American arenas in February, and closes at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome on February 28.

The Backspin HQ Perspective
Kenshi Yonezu is one of the clearest examples of how anime has rewired the global pop map. Two years ago he had never played North America; now he's booking the Kia Forum, Prudential Center and Scotiabank Arena off the back of a Billboard Global 200 record. Adding Toronto and Mexico City shows real confidence in how far his audience has spread beyond Japan. We'd love to see a West Coast Canada date next time, but for now this is one of the most interesting arena runs of early 2027.
