KEHLANI ANNOUNCES 'KEHLANI WORLD TOUR'
THE LEAD: Two-time Grammy Award winning R&B powerhouse Kehlani is hitting the road for a massive summer and fall takeover. Presented by Live Nation, The Kehlani World Tour: North America will span 33 dates, starting August 6, 2026, at The Armory in Minneapolis and wrapping up October 3 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in San Francisco. The announcement follows a historic chart run for her self-titled album, Kehlani, which secured the biggest debut unit sales for an R&B album by a female artist this year. Backed by the massive, record-breaking global success of her double-platinum anthem "Folded," this trek marks her most ambitious live production yet, transforming major outdoor amphitheaters and cutting-edge arenas into soulful, high-energy sanctuaries.
Key Takeaways: Kehlani World Tour Essentials
Tour Support: Special guests Durand Bernarr, Isaia Huron, TheARTI$t, and WASEEL will join as rotating support across select dates. Note that Durand Bernarr will not perform at the Milwaukee stop.
The Plus1 Partnership: Kehlani has teamed up with Live Nation and PLUS1 to ensure that $1 from every single ticket sold goes directly toward The Kehlani Fund to support community initiatives.
On-Sale Timeline: Public tickets went live on Friday, May 29, 2026, following highly competitive artist presales hosted at the official kehlaniworldtour website.
Chart Dominance: The tour celebrates her fourth top 10 entry on the Billboard 200, which launched at number 1 on the R&B Albums chart and delivered a historical 17-week run at the top of the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart with "Folded."
The Backspin HQ Perspective
Kehlani’s transition from her 2024 mixtape While We Wait 2 to this self-titled era feels like a definitive, heavyweight coronation. Winning two Grammy Awards for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song for "Folded" this year gave her the ultimate creative leverage, and it shows in this massive routing.
Our take: positioning this tour across major open-air amphitheaters like Merriweather Post Pavilion and the brand-new, highly anticipated Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront in Richmond is exactly how you match her lush, summer-ready production. Fans will remember how we previously tracked her evolution when we covered her last major run, as seen in our recap of Kehlani bringing the Crash Tour to Vancouver, but this new production elevates things to a completely different tier. Bringing along genre-disruptors like Durand Bernarr and Isaia Huron ensures that this line-up stays anchored in pure vocal skill and real R&B culture, rather than just chasing TikTok trends. This is Kehlani operating at peak confidence.
