J. COLE BRINGS 'THE FALL-OFF TOUR' TO DUBLIN'S 3ARENA

J. Cole brought The Fall-Off Tour to 3Arena in Dublin on Thursday, October 22, 2026, the only Irish date on the European run behind his seventh album, The Fall Off. It was his first show at the docklands arena since the 4 Your Eyez Only tour stopped there on October 18, 2017.

October 22, 2026 - Dublin was the ninth show of the 20-date European and UK leg of The Fall-Off Tour, which opened October 7 at Berlin's Uber Arena and reached Ireland straight from two nights at London's The O2 on October 19 and 20. The show went ahead as scheduled, and the tour's official Instagram account posted stories from inside 3Arena during the night. At the time of publishing, no full Dublin setlist had been posted and no Dublin support act had been confirmed.
The London reporting gives the clearest picture of what this leg looks like. According to Mixtape Madness' review of the October 19 O2 show, Cole opened '39 Intro' up in the stands before making his way to the stage. He then played a large share of The Fall Off, including 'Poor Thang', 'WHO TF IZ U' and 'Johnny P's Caddy', before a run of older songs from 'Work Out' and 'Wet Dreamz' to 'Love Yourz' and 'No Role Modelz'. Dreamville's Mick Jenkins opened that night. The partial setlist.fm entry for the same show lists '39 Intro', 'Two Six' and 'SAFETY'. Whether Dublin followed the same running order requires confirmation.
Cole's Irish history is longer than one arena date. When he played 3Arena in 2017, Hot Press reported that he told the crowd about a great-grandmother who had sailed from Ireland to America around 90 years earlier. He came back the next summer to headline Longitude Festival in 2018, and both KOD (2018) and The Off-Season (2021) reached No. 1 on the Irish albums chart, according to Hot Press.
The Fall Off came out on February 6, 2026 through Cole World, Inc. under exclusive licence to Interscope Records. It is a two-disc album built around Cole at ages 29 and 39 and his roots in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Live Nation announced the 50-plus-date arena tour 10 days after the album's release. It opened July 11 at Charlotte's Spectrum Center and is scheduled to close on December 12 with a stadium show at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

The Backspin HQ Perspective
When Backspin covered The Fall-Off Tour at Rogers Arena in August, the most important thing was how much Cole talked. He framed the new songs around Fayetteville, explained what they meant, and let the show run past the arena's usual 11 p.m. curfew to do it. That approach should suit Dublin. This is a city where he has scored two No. 1 albums and where, in 2017, he chose to tell an arena about his own Irish family line. A show about where Cole comes from fits naturally in a room that has heard him do that before. The London reports point to a set that commits to The Fall Off before moving into the older songs, rather than a greatest-hits night with a few new tracks added. Seven albums in, leading with the newest one is the right call.
