CARLY RAE JEPSEN ANNOUNCES 'DAY AND NIGHT' 2027 NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINE TOUR, INCLUDING VANCOUVER, MADISON SQUARE GARDEN AND RED ROCKS
TL;DR: B.C.'s own Carly Rae Jepsen is taking her eighth album Day and Night on a 26-city North American tour in spring 2027, including her first-ever headline shows at Madison Square Garden, the Kia Forum and Red Rocks, and a homecoming stop at Vancouver's Orpheum on April 18.
October 1, 2026 - Carly Rae Jepsen has announced the Day and Night Tour, promoted by Live Nation. It opens April 15 at Edmonton's Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium and closes May 29 at Montreal's MTELUS, with stops in Calgary, Vancouver, Portland, San Francisco, Austin, Nashville, Chicago, Toronto and Ottawa. The tour follows Day and Night, released earlier this month on Interscope to her strongest debut since Kiss. The album moves from symphonic pop to dreamy psychedelia to full disco, and critics have called it one of the most ambitious projects of her career. Focus track "Versailles" arrived with a music video inspired by Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette, directed by Kanya Iwana.

The Backspin HQ Perspective
Carly Rae Jepsen has spent a decade as pop's best-kept cult favourite, and this tour feels like the moment the cult outgrew the clubs. Madison Square Garden and the Kia Forum are statements, but the routing still makes room for theatres like the Orpheum and the Chicago Theatre, which suit her best. Opening in Edmonton and Calgary before a Vancouver homecoming is a nice touch for Western Canada, and with six Canadian dates in total, this is one of the most Canada-friendly pop tours of 2027.
